'Melrose Place' Star Amy Locane Charged


Former "Melrose Place" original cast member Amy Locane has been charged with second-degree vehicular homicide for allegedly causing a fatal crash before being arrested for suspicion of DWI Sunday night in Montgomery, N.J.

The 38-year-old star, whose legal last name is Locane-Bouvenizer, was driving a Chevy Tahoe at approximately 9:16 p.m. when she struck the passenger side of a Mercury Milan driven by Fred Seeman as he was attempting to enter his driveway, according to the incident report. Seeman's passenger, Helene Seeman, was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver was airlifted to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

Locane sustained minor cuts to her right foot and was arrested and held on $50,000 bail after responding officers "detected the odor of alcohol on defendant. Locane-Bouvenizer’s breath and observed other signs of impairment."

During the investigation, it was discovered that Locane allegedly was also involved in an earlier, minor hit-and-run accident a few miles from the fatal collision in which she is reported to have left the scene when the other driver attempted to contact police to report the incident. That driver followed Locane and reported witnessing the star's vehicle swerving and knocking down several mailboxes prior to colliding with the Seemans.

WTF? I guess her ONSTAR didn't note the first crash...or the 30 mailboxes she plowed over...
But...I hate the mail too.. Those uppity people with their little boxes to hold their little mail... with the cute little designs...fishing lures, little barns with wind mills... little bird houses..... F'n crush 'em... Makes me wanna drink a half rack...pick up a bottle of peach schnapps and roll over them in ma' cheavy on dubs...
oh wait.. that's not a rational or responsible action... sorry... I digress.
